At Lake View Nursery, OFSTED inspections are an important part of ensuring we continue to provide high-quality care, learning and experiences for all children and families.
OFSTED is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect nurseries and early years settings across England to ensure children are safe, well cared for, and receiving high-quality early education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Inspectors spend time observing practice, speaking with staff and leaders, reviewing safeguarding procedures and looking at how children learn, develop and thrive within the setting.
Early years settings are normally inspected approximately every 4 years, although inspections can take place sooner where needed. Newly registered providers are usually inspected within their first 18 months.
We are proud of the positive feedback received in our latest inspection and the recognition of the warm, inclusive and ambitious environment we provide for children.
