Our Nursery classRooms
At Lake View Nursery, we care for children from 5 months old right through to preschool graduation. Our nursery is made up of three dedicated rooms:
- Baby Room (approx. 5 months – 2 years)
- Toddler Room (approx. 2 – 3 years)
- Preschool Room (approx. 3 years – school age)
We know that transitions can feel like big steps, so we take great care to make each one a smooth and positive experience. When a child is ready to move up to the next room, we consider their age, development, friendships, and availability. Gradual settling visits help the child become familiar with their new space and key person, and we share transition reports between teams to ensure continuity of care and learning.
Parents are always kept informed, and they have the chance to meet new staff at a dedicated Parents’ Open Evening. A ‘Meet the Team’ welcome pack is shared to help everyone feel confident and prepared.
